Awarded to the junior handler who receives the most votes.

Sportsmanship Award

Sam Laskoski Memorial Trophy. This award is given to the member who demonstrates citizenship and goes above and beyond to ensure that our field trial events run smoothly. The award honors the memory of Sam Laskoski, who was a cowboy from Viking Alberta. Sam joined the club when he was in his 70’s. He was a great sport, had a super sense of humour and was an excellent dog trainer. He had started off training greyhounds and sled dogs and then got into training hounds. His extensive experience made him the go to guy, for members who had questions or needed some help with their dogs.
